Laurie Beth Zuckerman's photo of the Madonna
and Jesus in the Rinconada cemetery |
Laurie Beth Zuckerman photographed this roadside shrine and cemetery near Taos several years ago. I have never seen such a majestic backdrop to a simple Camposanto cemetery.

Oh my...I have to make it out west before my life is over! The simplest materials make up the hugest impact! This photograph is so spiritual♥♥♥
When I see Mary all chippy and worn it touches my heart so much!! Beautiful as was the one yesterday.
just love the contrasting colours and textures and the discolouration on the statues and that sacred heart!
wow! look at the startling scenery. These photos are fabulous! Love your banner too!
She looks all the more sorrowful for her peeling paint...
Mary of the Open Arms
her beauty shines through!
The backdrop is very dramatic and makes the statues that much more reverent. Beautiful images. Wonderful capture.
